Corporate Logo

Your Black Lab corporate signature definition
The Your Black Lab signature consists of two main components:

  • the logo or “Momentum Mark,” a graphical element that captures the spirit and essence of our new company
  • the Your Black Lab logotype, the name “Your Black Lab” in its unique type treatment
Both elements combine to form the Your Black Lab corporate signature.

The Your Black Lab Momentum Mark, and logotype—and their relationships to each other—were developed to express our new name and brand image.

They may not be recreated, redrawn or reconfigured under any circumstances. Please use only approved master reproduction art, and follow all standards and specifications outlined in guidelines.

Minimum scalable size
To ensure clarity and readability, a special small version of the Your Black Lab signature has been created where elements of the signature have been altered. Use the small version when the imported graphic is either 2.972" wide , or the imported file is reduced to 30 percent. The smallest allowable size for the horizontal Your Black Lab signature is 2.0 inches (6.08 cm) in width. Horizontal configuration is the only current acceptable configuration allowed. If there are special situations when the Your Black Lab logo needs to be smaller than minimim size, please contact the Identity Manager.

Alternate Logo Usage

Color vs. black and white
When using the logo, we prefer you use the color version. However, when the color logo cannot be used, such as on black-and-white applications, the grayscale version of the corporate logo is preferred. When producing materials with dark-colored backgrounds, always use the reversed (with white text) logo.

Please note that these versions of the logo, just as the color version, may not be altered in any way. The Your Black Lab logo is the only approved logo for Your Black Lab materials. Please do not create logos for use on external materials. Distributor and co-op usage guidelines are available to reference for branding opportunities.

Logo Do’s and Don’ts

Incorrect logo usage
It is important that the Your Black Lab corporate logo is always used in its correct, trademarked form. The design of this logo must never be altered in any way. Never modify the shape or proportion, or set the logo in a different typeface. The logo should never appear in any color except those approved in this guide. It should always appear prominently and be used in its entirety. The simplest way to ensure the logo is used in its correct form is to reproduce the logo from original artwork. Incorrect presentations of the logo are illustrated here.

Corporate Colors.

Official corporate colors
Color is an important element in the Your Black Lab identity. Consistent and correct usage of our corporate color palette will help ensure that we present a cohesive, high-quality image to the world.

The colors shown here, Your Black Lab Black (PANTONE® [PMS] 426 C solid coated) and Arc Shape Gradation starts from left Maroon (PANTONE® [PMS] 1807 C solid coated) to right Red (PANTONE® [PMS] 179 C solid coated) represent the Your Black Lab corporate color palette. Along with Cool Gray, they are the only colors to be used for reproduction of the Your Black Lab corporate logo and signature. Use them against background colors that provide sufficient contrast to attain optimum readability. The official Black and Red are also the two colors most closely associated with corporate-level communications, such as signage, business cards and letterhead.

Extended Print Color Palette.

Supporting colors
The colors in the extended palette have been specifically chosen because they best complement the official corporate colors and represent the YourBlackLab brand. Colors should not be added to the palette, nor should too many colors be used in a single communication. Screened versions of these colors are also available. All the colors were chosen to work together as one unit. We have organized the colors into pairings to help you choose combinations that work well together. However, to avoid having too many color variations, do not use more than two base colors on the same page.

We’ve also added a number of neutral and bold colors to enhance the company’s visual identity and to provide balance for your design pieces. The base colors represent YourBlackLab’s expertise, knowledge, history and stability while the bold colors help convey YourBlackLab’s modern and innovative atmosphere. Feel free to combine any of the neutral or bold colors with your base color selections.

Extended Online Color Palette.

Supporting online colors
The colors in the extended online palette have been specifically chosen because they best complement the official corporate colors and represent the YourBlackLab brand in online media. These colors are set up hexadecimal modes. Feel free to use the version that best suits your needs. Additional colors should not be added to the palette, nor should too many colors be used in a single communication. Screened versions of these colors may be used for certain applications.

Corporate Typography.

AvantGarGotItcTEEDem
Our font may be difficult to pronounce, but it’s extremely easy to read. AvantGarGotItcTEEDem conveys a sense of modernity, friendliness and approachability. Its consistent use is key to building recognition of the Your Black Lab brand. Your Black Lab’s approved AvantGarGotItcTEEDem typefaces are indicated here. In cases where this font is not available, such as in electronic media, Arial should be used as the default typeface.
